Presenting: Writing and Publishing your own Story. Calling all writers (or want-to-be-writers). The Albert County Historical Society is pleased to offer a writer’s workshop taking place on Wednesday, August 13th from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the Hopewell Cape Community Hall. The workshop presenters will be Richard Irving, author of “Backwoods Boy”, his personal memoir about growing up in rural Albert County. Along with Richard will be professional editor Heather Walsh. You will learn about writing your own story, editing, publishing, along with marketing ideas that work. The workshop and refreshments are by donation, and with a $25 donation a copy of “Backwoods Boy” will be included. Other door prizes will be offered and there will be additional door prizes for attendees.
