Celebrating “50 Golden Years of Quilting”
The highlight of the season at the Albert County Museum is the “2026 ACHS Quilt Show and Sale”, Thu. July 16 to Sat. July 18, Open Daily 10am to 5pm. Admission is $3 at the door, or free with paid museum admission during the three-day event. Over the years, the Quilt Show and Sale has been one of the most important fundraising efforts supporting the museum. Read about the Quilt Show and Sale in Saltscapes Magazine - thank you to local author Derorah Carr for the great story!
The Albert County Historical Society is overjoyed to be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Quilt Show and Sale with a programme of featured events to be enjoyed from May through August. Dating back to 1975, the Quilt Show and Sale has been the “fabric” of this community for generations, bringing people together with common interests to work together. Taking place at the Albert County Museum for many of these years, the dedicated ACHS Quilt Committees transforms the Hopewell Cape Community Hall into one of the largest and longest running shows in Atlantic Canada!
