Today is the 75th Anniversary of VE day (Victory Europe), May 8, 1945 to May 8, 2020. Today 75 years ago the Second World War ended in Europe with the complete surrender of Nazi Germany. After 6 years of war there was peace. (The war in the Pacific would continue until August 15, 1945.)
