Lest We Forget - George Frederic Steeves - Killed in Action 100 Years Ago Today 11.26.1917

George Frederic Steeves, 709682 was from Meadow (Elgin), Albert County, New Brunswick and was born August 15, 1895. He was the Son of Fred W. and Florence M. Steeves, of Meadow, Albert Co., New Brunswick. He enlisted with the 26th NB Battalion on November 10, 1915. He was listed as Killed in Action at Passchendaele while fighting with the 26th NB Battalion on November 26, 1917. He has is buried at PASSCHENDAELE NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
