Back to School Monday with a photo of the Point Wolfe school taken from the rear of the building. The Point Wolfe school served the sawmill community, and ceased to have any function when the mill village disappeared. Click on the link to see a photo of the rear of the school.
Back to Church Sunday with this a beautiful postcard from the NB Museum collection of the First Baptist Church in Hillsborough. Sadly this church burned shortly after this postcard was issued (circa 1910).
This is a beautiful postcard from the NB Museum collection looking on Hillsborough from Taylors Hill (Taylor’s Lane). The date on the Postcard is September 20, 1906 and the message reads today is 99°(F) in the shade!
