Albert County 175 Art Show July 25 & 26 in the Court House

On July 25th and 26th, the Court House is being turned into an Art Gallery, and over 20 artists will be showcased.  From original paintings to sculptures, photography, wood turning, textile art and more, the featured artists include: Alan Bell, Lars Larsen, Elizabeth Tener, Karin Bach, Normand Bradford, Curtis Dionne, Bob Greenblatt, Tim Isaac, Wendy Johnston, Jim Kitts, Ruth Ann Mitchell, Kevin Snair, Brian Townsend, Trudy Wade, Sharon Wells and others – all are from, or living in, Beautiful Albert County. 

You will also enjoy the new Albert County 175 Exhibit, featuring 36 interactive panels with the history of our county and the stories of the Land and Sea and the “People of the Tides” and a timeline from 1845-2020.  The AC175 Art Show is included in admission to the Albert County Museum or by donation.

 Special Albert County 175 Pins are available for only $25 including: Made in New Brunswick lapel pin, copy of the Albert County 175 Magazine, Membership to the Albert County Historical Society for 2020, Seasons Pass to the Albert County Museum for 2020 and 2021, and an entry into the AC175 Prize Draw.  You can purchase these at the Albert County Museum during opening hours of 9:30 to 5:30 daily to the end of September or can be purchase on-line for pick up or delivery: www.albertcountymuseum.com/ac175pin

 This event is part of the AC175 Celebrations which shares the stories of the Land, Sea and People of Albert County, who helped Canada become a nation, created CBC radio, helped win WWI, formed one of the of nation’s beloved National Parks and live near the world’s highest tides.  Upcoming Event Highlights include August 8th Albert County’s 175 Birthday Festival of Live Music, a part of the 2020 Rising Tide Festival.
